Each Transportation Impact Analysis must adhere to a consistent format and structure, encompassing all figures, maps, and details as outlined in this section. The specific level of detail required for each project's Transportation Impact Analysis will be determined during the scoping process and specified in the Scoping Document.
Los Angeles County Traffic Study Guidelines Section 5.1. - Project Description
The Transportation Impact Analysis should commence with a comprehensive project description. This description should encompass:
- Project case number, as assigned by the Department of Regional Planning (if applicable Tract Map, Parcel Map, Conditional Use Permit, RPPL),
- Project site location details, including address, Assessor’s Block and Lot number(s), cross streets, Supervisorial District, and Unincorporated Community,
- Existing and proposed total square footage for each land use type or number of residential units, highlighting net changes for each category,
- Proposed transportation demand management measures integral to the project.
Additionally, this section must include the following maps and figures:
- Project site plan illustrating driveway locations and loading/unloading areas,
- Site map delineating study intersections and depicting the proximity of project driveway(s) to adjacent intersections. This map should identify major buildings, driveways, parking areas, and loading docks within the project area.
