Los Angeles County Traffic Study Guidelines Section 5.4.1 - Introduction
When a project is expected to cause significant transportation impacts, as outlined in Section 3, or transportation deficiencies, as described in Section 4, the project’s consultant should consult with Public Works to discuss potential mitigation options and corrective actions before submitting a Transportation Impact Analysis. Various transportation mitigation measures should be explored to reduce a project’s significant transportation impact to an insignificant level.
All proposed mitigation measures must be detailed in the Transportation Impact Analysis and meet the satisfaction of Public Works.
