Monitoring and reporting of mitigation efforts in CEQA documents within mitigation measures and recommended actions in Los Angeles

Los Angeles County Traffic Study Guidelines Section 5.4.4. - Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in CEQA Documents

Each mitigation measure included in the project’s CEQA Document should be individually described. The following information must be provided for each measure:

  • Identification of the responsible agency overseeing the monitoring and coordinating all involved parties,
  • Qualifications, if any, required for the designated monitor(s),
  • Monitoring schedule specifying phases of the project, frequency, and completion/termination dates. This applies to both physical mitigation measures during construction and those operational throughout the project's lifespan (e.g., TDM program),
  • Funding details, including sources of funding for monitoring activities by both project personnel and the County, particularly for long-term monitoring efforts.
