Introduction and Screening Criteria for Further Site Access Analysis in Los Angeles

Section 4.4 - Additional Site Access Analysis

Los Angeles County Traffic Study Guidelines Section 4.4.1 - Introduction

Analysis of project access and circulation constraints related to the site plan, including ingress and egress to and from the project site, may be conducted independently of the Transportation Impact Analysis.

Los Angeles County Traffic Study Guidelines Section 4.4.2 - Screening Criteria

If the answer is affirmative to any of the following questions, additional studies on site access may be necessary to evaluate the project's access requirements:

  • Does the project propose a driveway on a rural cross-section two-lane highway as per the County’s General Plan?
  • Does the project's intended land use necessitate on-site vehicle queuing?
  • Does the project's land use involve intermittent events that could exceed the available on-site parking capacity?

Our services are available throughout Los Angeles County, including 90083 and 90084.
